About us

Nonprofit , non governmental organization, registered by executive decree No. 62 on the 20 of March 2017, identifying resolution No. 004‐PJ‐004 from the Government and Justice Ministry of Panama.

Mission

To ensure the survival of Panamanian amphibian species for generations to come. We do this by the following:
1. Being leaders in the research, breeding, protection, and reintroduction of imperiled amphibians.
2. Utilizing sound and transparent business practices and integrated revenue streams to achieve financial stability
3. Providing community engagement and environmental education through public education, ecotourism, outreach,
and capacity‐building.
4. Advocating for amphibian conservation and habitat protection to execute the National Amphibian Conservation
Plan (NACP) by employing scientific principles and fostering local and international partnerships.

Vision

We envision ourselves as a leading organization dedicated to ensuring the survival of Panamanian amphibians and other
endangered vertebrates, promoting environmental education and habitat conservation.

Services and Interests

  • Scientific investigation in support of conservation.
  • Promote sustainable community development in communities in which we work.
  • Disseminate education and create awareness in both rural and urban setings.
  • Perform inspections and environmental consults.
  • Exhibition Center , and Discovery Center which serves as an educational tool to learn about amphibians, rep‐tiles, and other endangered species in Panama.
